Use muscle testing to ask the subconscious mind what needs attention.
Gently uncover the emotions, imbalances, or beliefs connected to it.
Use intention and the appropriate energy-healing method to let it go.
It communicates through physical sensations, emotions, thoughts, reactions, and patterns. Sometimes, you understand exactly why you feel a certain way. At other times, you may feel stuck, overwhelmed, tense, or unlike yourself without knowing why.
Energy healing offers a gentle way to explore what may be happening beneath the surface.
Using muscle testing and the subconscious mind, we look for trapped emotions, imbalances in the body, and/or unhelpful beliefs that may be ready to address.
The goal is not to force change or erase your experiences. It is to help identify and release what may no longer be serving you, creating more space for balance, clarity, and whole-self wellness.
Your brain, heart, nerves, muscles, and cells use electrical and chemical signals to communicate. Your heart produces electrical activity. Your nervous system carries signals throughout your body. Your brain also relies on electrical activity to help you think, move, feel, and respond.
In this basic sense, energy is already part of how your body works.
Energy-healing approaches expand on this idea. They view the body, mind, emotions, and energy as closely connected. When one area is under stress, other parts of your well-being may also be affected.
Dr. Bruce Lipton frequently discusses the body as an energetic system and explores how thoughts, beliefs, perceptions, and the environment can influence cellular activity. His work emphasizes that our internal experiences may affect how the body responds to the world around us.
Energy healing does not mean that every physical or emotional concern is caused by an energy imbalance. It means we are looking at another possible layer of your experience—one that may complement appropriate medical, mental health, and wellness care.
It may involve:
These imbalances may not always be obvious to the conscious mind.
You may know that you procrastinate, people-please, shut down, become anxious, or repeatedly question yourself. However, you may not understand where the reaction began or why it continues.
That is where the subconscious mind becomes an important part of the process.
Your subconscious mind operates more quietly in the background. It helps store memories, beliefs, emotional associations, habits, and learned responses.
For example, you do not need to consciously think through every step of tying your shoes or driving a familiar route. Once something has been learned, your subconscious mind helps make it automatic.
Emotional patterns may also become automatic.
If you learned at an early age that speaking up was unsafe, you may continue to silence yourself as an adult—even when you consciously want to be more confident.
If you experienced rejection, criticism, loss, or instability, part of you may still respond as though the earlier threat is present.
These responses are not personal failures. They may be protective patterns that once helped you cope.
Through energy-healing sessions, we gently ask what your subconscious mind may be ready to bring forward.
During a session, I use muscle testing to ask your subconscious mind simple, focused questions.
Muscle testing is a central tool within Dr. Bradley Nelson’s Emotion Code®, Body Code™, and Belief Code® methods. Within these systems, it is used to help identify trapped emotions, beliefs, and other potential imbalances. Discover Healing describes muscle testing as a way of accessing information from the subconscious mind through the body’s responses.
The process usually involves questions that can be answered with a yes-or-no response.
We may begin broadly and then narrow the questions.
For example:
“Is there an imbalance we can address today?”
“Is it emotional?”
“Is it connected to a belief?”
“Is more information needed?”
This is not about guessing what is wrong with you. It is a structured process used to explore what your system appears ready to address.
You do not need to consciously know the answer beforehand.
You also do not need to relive every difficult experience or explain every private detail.
Emotions such as grief, anger, fear, sadness, shame, or worry are not bad. They provide information and help us respond to life.
Most emotions arise, move through us, and pass.
According to Dr. Bradley Nelson’s Emotion Code framework, an emotion may sometimes become “trapped” when the body does not fully process it during a stressful or emotionally intense experience. The Emotion Code method uses muscle testing to identify the emotion and magnetic energy along the governing meridian as part of its release process.
A trapped emotion is not the same as a medical diagnosis.
It is a term used within this energy-healing system to describe emotional energy that may remain connected to the body or subconscious mind.
You may think of it as an emotional imprint from an experience.
The memory itself is not removed. Instead, the intention is to release the emotional charge that may still be connected to it.
Rather than focusing only on emotions, the Body Code organizes potential imbalances into six main categories:
These categories are used as an energetic assessment framework. They are not a substitute for medical testing, diagnosis, or treatment. Discover Healing describes the Body Code as a system that uses muscle testing to locate possible imbalances across these six areas.
During a session, we allow the questioning process to guide us rather than assuming which area needs attention.
Sometimes a concern appears connected to an emotion.
Sometimes it appears connected to a belief.
At other times, the Body Code may direct us toward another category or layer.
Every session is different because every person’s experiences and needs are different.
Some beliefs are helpful:
“I am capable.”
“It is safe to rest.”
“My needs matter.”
Other beliefs may limit you:
“I am not good enough.”
“I have to make everyone happy.”
“It is unsafe to be seen.”
“I must be perfect to be loved.”
You may not consciously choose these beliefs. Many develop through childhood experiences, family patterns, relationships, cultural messages, or repeated emotional events.
The Belief Code® builds on the Emotion Code and Body Code systems. It uses muscle testing to explore unwanted beliefs and negative systems of thought that may be held within the subconscious mind.
Belief work is not about blaming your past or replacing every negative thought with forced positivity.
It is about recognizing that a belief may have been learned—and what was learned may also be reconsidered.
Sometimes the subconscious mind appears to need the age, event, or general context connected to the imbalance. At other times, identification alone may be enough.
We then bring focused attention and intention to what has been identified.
Within the Emotion Code and Body Code methods, a magnet is passed along the governing meridian. This meridian follows a pathway along the center of the body and is described within the system as an important energetic pathway.
Dr. Nelson’s method teaches that the magnet helps amplify the practitioner’s intention as it is passed over this pathway. The process is intended to release the identified energetic imbalance.
This does not erase a memory.
It does not change what happened.
It does not remove the wisdom or lessons you gained.
The intention is to help release the emotional or energetic charge that may still be connected to the experience.
Afterward, I use muscle testing again to check whether the imbalance appears to have been released.
Some people notice a shift during the session. Others recognize changes gradually over the following days or weeks.
A release may feel like:
You may also notice very little at first.
Every person processes differently, and no particular reaction or result can be guaranteed.
The body and mind may need time to adjust after an emotional or energetic layer has been addressed. I encourage clients to be gentle with themselves, rest as needed, stay hydrated, and observe their experiences without placing pressure on themselves to feel a certain way.
You are always welcome to share whatever feels helpful, but you do not need to tell me every detail of an experience.
The muscle-testing process often allows us to determine whether an emotion, belief, or pattern is connected to a particular time without requiring you to retell the complete story.
This can make the process feel more private and manageable.
Energy healing is not trauma therapy, however. When trauma, mental health symptoms, or painful memories require clinical support, working with a qualified mental health professional is important.
Energy healing may be used alongside that care, but it does not replace it.
Within Dr. Bradley Nelson’s methods, practitioners may use proxy muscle testing to conduct a session when the client is not physically present. The practitioner acts as a temporary energetic representative for the client while completing the testing process.
You can remain comfortably at home while we connect by phone or video.
Remote sessions follow the same general process as in-person energy-healing sessions:
You do not need to prepare anything complicated before your appointment.
Simply find a quiet place where you can be present and comfortable.
You may be exploring:
Energy healing does not diagnose, treat, or cure medical or mental health conditions.
It may offer a complementary way to explore emotional, subconscious, and energetic patterns that could be contributing to how you experience your life.
Within the Emotion Code framework, the subconscious mind may form a protective energetic barrier around the heart during periods of emotional pain, grief, fear, or vulnerability.
This barrier is believed to be made from layers of trapped emotional energy. It may have developed as a form of protection when you needed it most.
However, protection that was once helpful may later make it more difficult to feel open, connected, trusting, or emotionally available.
During Heart-Wall work, we use muscle testing to determine whether a Heart-Wall is present and whether the subconscious mind is ready to address it.
If one is identified, the emotions are explored and released one layer at a time.
This process is never forced or rushed.
You may share what has been happening, what you would like support with, or an area where you feel stuck.
You do not need to have the perfect words or understand the root of the concern.
You may also choose to do Body Preference, where we allow your body to guide us to what needs the most attention at any given time.
Your intention may relate to an emotion, behavior, belief, goal, relationship, or overall sense of well-being.
This gives the session a direction without forcing a specific answer.
Dr. Bradley Nelson shares that this is the most important piece to your healing.
I ask your subconscious mind a series of simple questions to identify the priority imbalance.
Sometimes an age, event, emotion, or belief becomes relevant. We follow the process gently and respectfully.
Using intention and the appropriate release method, I work with what your subconscious mind appears ready to let go of.
I check whether the imbalance has been released and whether another layer should be addressed.
Throughout the session, we check in to see where you’re at and how you’re feeling, and if it’s safe to continue.
We review what came forward and discuss any gentle observations or supportive steps for afterward.
I will not tell you that every problem is caused by your emotions.
I will not ask you to stop medical treatment, therapy, medication, or care from another qualified professional.
I will not guarantee a particular outcome.
I will not force your subconscious mind to address something before it appears ready.
My role is to provide a compassionate, respectful space where we can explore what your system may be communicating.
It is not about fixing you, because you are not broken.
It is about becoming more aware of the patterns, emotions, beliefs, and experiences that may still be influencing your life.
As a certified Emotion Code®, Body Code™, and Belief Code® practitioner, I use these systems to help clients explore the connection between their conscious goals and subconscious patterns.
My approach is gentle, grounded, and collaborative.
You remain an active part of the process. Your boundaries matter. Your experiences matter. Your pace matters.
Our work is intended to support you in feeling lighter, brighter, and more able to move through life with clarity.
No. You can approach the process with curiosity.
You do not need to follow a particular spiritual practice or belief system. I simply ask that you remain open to observing your own experience.
You may or may not.
Some clients notice a physical sensation, an emotion, a breath, a yawn, warmth, or a sense of relief. Others do not feel anything noticeable during the session.
Neither response means the session was unsuccessful.
Your experience is unique to you. I ask that you remain aware and use a journal to take note of any out-of-the-way characteristics. This helps you to notice where and when shifts happen for you.
Energy healing is not a guaranteed or instant solution.
Some people seek support for one specific concern. Others choose to work through several layers over time.
Your needs, goals, experiences, and responses are unique.
No.
Energy healing is not psychotherapy and does not replace licensed mental health care. It may be used as a complementary wellness practice alongside therapy when appropriate.
No.
Energy healing does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure medical conditions. Always consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional about symptoms, diagnoses, medications, or treatment.
Energy-healing methods may be adapted for children and animals with proper permission and consent from a parent, guardian, or owner.
The approach should always be gentle and appropriate for the individual situation.
I offer 30-minute or 60-minute sessions, with a buffer included in that time frame for sharing concerns and/or questions.
The exact amount addressed during that time varies depending on what your system appears ready to explore.
Your privacy is important to me.
Information shared during a session is treated respectfully and confidentially, subject to the policies and legal limitations outlined in my client agreement.
A belief may feel true because you have carried it for years, but that does not mean it reflects who you truly are.
An emotional pattern may have helped you survive, protect yourself, or remain connected to others. You can honor why it developed while also exploring whether you still need it.
Energy healing offers one way to begin that conversation with yourself.
Together, we gently listen for what your body and subconscious mind may be ready to bring forward, understand, and release.
Bring your concern, your curiosity, or simply the feeling that something in your life is ready to change.
We will begin there.
Energy-healing services are complementary wellness practices and are not substitutes for medical care, mental health treatment, diagnosis, or professional advice. Individual experiences vary, and results are not guaranteed.
Single Session
In your 1-1 Emotion, Body, or Belief Code Session, I create and demonstrate a collaborative relationship that is a completely neutral, safe environment for my Client to determine their path in an organic way, where I retrieve the information through muscle testing and allow the Client’s subconscious to bring up what needs to be seen in that moment. Releasing trapped emotions that could be hindering the Client’s physical, mental, and/or spiritual wellbeing.
5-Sessions Offer
As in the Emotion Code process, so too with your 1-1 Body Code Sessions, I create and demonstrate a collaborative relationship that is a completely neutral, safe environment for my Client to determine their path in an organic way, where I retrieve the information through muscle testing and allow the Client’s subconscious to bring up what needs to be seen in that moment. Releasing imbalances in the body that could be hindering the Client’s overall wellness (mind, body, and spirit).
[1-HOUR OFFER]
This 1-Hour Session is a great way to dive deep into what the Emotion, Body, or Belief Code offers, and to muscle-test whether you have a Heart-Wall that can be released or deep-rooted programming that no longer serves you. A Heart-Wall is an energetic barrier made of trapped emotions that the subconscious mind builds around the heart to protect it from further emotional pain. While it may offer short-term protection, it can block love, joy, and connection until the trapped emotions are released.
You know there is no “one way” towards better health, and are open to trying Eastern Medicine modalities.
You’re ready and willing to show up and make positive changes mentally, physically, and spiritually.
You don’t blame others for how you feel or how your life has turned out. YOU TAKE OWNERSHIP.
...and new experiences. You're tired of making excuses and ready to improve your overall life, and as a natural by-product, your relationships.
...and understand that you are never exonerated and will forever be on the path of learning. You love doing research and discovering what best serves you. You don't need your hand held or need reminders.
...creating positive intentions and following through. Doing whatever it takes to see a change in your life, knowing that every second is a chance to turn it all around. To be a better version of yourself!
The ideal client is READY TO HEAL, show up, make positive changes, and be open to new possibilities and experiences, improving their mind, body, and spirit.
