That’s the space of the Third Eye (Brow) Chakra. It’s the energy center of perception, insight, intuition, and inner guidance.

When your brow chakra flows well, you feel clear. You trust your inner knowing and can hold wisdom and logic at the same time.

When it feels blocked or overwhelmed, life can feel confusing. You may doubt yourself constantly. Or you may overthink everything until you feel stuck.

In this post, we’ll explore how the third eye chakra develops, what disrupts it, and how to support it. And I’ll share gentle tools you can start using today.

What Is the Third Eye Chakra?

The Third Eye Chakra sits in the center of the forehead, between the eyebrows. It’s often called the Brow Chakra.

In Anodea Judith’s work, the third eye relates to:

  • Meaning-making and perception
  • Inner truth and guidance
  • Self-reflection and wisdom

This chakra helps you connect the dots and interpret your experiences. It helps you “see” what’s true beneath the surface.

This is when a person starts asking deeper questions, like:

  • “What is true for me?”
  • “Where do I belong in the world?”
  • “What matters most?”

It’s also when the mind becomes more abstract. Teens start developing big-picture thinking and begin forming their own worldview.

This is powerful, and it can also feel intense. Because at this stage, the inner world expands fast and not everyone has support for that growth.

During adolescence, the brain is changing rapidly. Identity begins forming quickly, and social pressure increases fast.

Here are gentle, grounded tools that support third eye healing.
Pick one or two to start.

1) Create Quiet Space Every Day

Your intuition needs silence.
Not forever.
Just daily.

Try 2 minutes of stillness.
No phone.
No music.
Just breathing.

Your inner wisdom speaks softly.
Your nervous system hears it in calm moments.

2) Use “Inner Sight” Journaling

This chakra loves reflection.
Journaling helps you see patterns clearly.

Try prompts like:

  • “What is my body asking for today?”
  • “What do I know, even if I can’t prove it?”
  • “Where do I betray my own truth?”
